DHA is a major building block of the brain, which roughly doubles in size during the first year of life. Adequate intake of DHA is essential for proper brain and visual development, and remains necessary throughout life to maintain brain, eye, and nervous system health.

Suggested use

Suggested use for infants 6-12 months: 
Body Weight  Dose
5-10 lb 0.5 ml
11-20 lb 1.0 ml
21-25 lb 1.5 ml
26-35 lb 2.0 ml
  1. Using dropper, measure appropriate dose based on baby's weight (see chart above).
  2. Add Baby's DHA to food, breast milk, or infant formula once daily, or as directed by your pediatrician. 
  3. Clean dropper thoroughly between each use, especially if dropper contacts baby's mouth. 
  4. Store bottle with original cap in refrigerator.

Other ingredients

Marine algae oil (schizochytrium sp.), high-oleic sunflower oil, rosemary extract (a natural preservative), mixed tocopherols (antioxidant), ascorbyl palmitate.

No gluten, milk derivatives, or artificial colors or flavors.

Every batch of Nordic Naturals algae oil is tested by a third-party certified lab for environmental toxins, including heavy metals. The algae oil is in the triglyceride form and surpasses the strictest international standards for purity and freshness.
